According to foreign media reports, artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most popular areas today. Over the past three years, the global investment in artificial intelligence has exceeded $60 billion, and artificial intelligence start-ups more than 1700.

In AI products, AI chips are extremely critical, and a large number of technology giants such as apple and Google have launched or are developing AI chips. Recently, market research institutes also evaluated the AI chip companies and released a list.

Compass Intelligence, a market research agency, evaluated more than 100 companies involved in artificial intelligence chips in the world. According to the score, 24 companies finally entered the list.

In the list of Compass Intelligence, the first place was NVIDIA, with 94.4 points. Followed by Intel, it scored 91 points. NVIDIA and Intel are the only two companies that scored more than 90 points.

In the third place, NXP semiconductor got 83 points, IBM ranked 82.3 in fourth, AMD got 82 points, ranked fifth.
Ranked 6 to 10 were Google, ARM, apple, Qualcomm and Broadcom, scoring 81 to 72.5, Samsung Electronics got 71 points, ranked 11 in the list.

Last year, the artificial intelligence chip Kirin 970 had been launched, and was used in the HUAWEI of Mate 10 and other smartphones. It also entered the Compass Intelligence list, which got 67.5 points and ranked twelfth.
